The すごい Project

I've been inclined with the Japanese culture since I am a kid. I grew up watching anime and singing to their music. I love cherry blossoms more than any other flower I know and I want to stroll in the streets of Tokyo for once in my life. I also read manga and sometimes cosplay. Somehow I learned how to speak in Japanese through watching and listening. But this is not enough. All these started my new adventure: THE SUGOI PROJECT

The SUGOI Project is what I coin my enrolment in a Nihongo extramural class at the University of the Philippines Diliman. The class is made up of 10 sessions, 3 hours each which is held every Saturday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. What I am taking is the first module, Beginner Japanese 1. The students are expected to speak basic conversational Nihongo and master the hiragana and katakana writing systems as well as some of the kanji characters by the end of the course. This class is a non-credit course but a certificate of completion will be given.
